Chandler’s birthday was yesterday and he turned 6! Wow how time flies… We had a small party for him yesterday with a few friends and family. After the party we all went to Chuck E Cheese’s for fun ‘n games. I’m 28 and I still enjoy Chuck E Cheese’s. This is Chandler’s favorite place to go besides bowling. Thank you to everyone who came and for sharing this day with him and us. Check back for more pictures…

Chandler started his first day of Kindergarten yesterday! It turned out good. Chandler’s teacher is really nice and he likes her a lot. He even told us today that he thinks she’s pretty…haha Lenny and I ended up taking him to school, because his bus was really late. After an hour of waiting and his bus never showing up, we took him ourselves. In the end it turned out to be a good thing, because we were able to walk him into his classroom and take a couple of pictures.

Chandler had a follow up appointment with his orthopedic doctor on Thursday. This was to go over the MRI results. Turns out he will need to have surgery on his wrists. It will be at Arnold Palmer hospital and what they will do is "extend his tendons". It’s an outpatient surgery and his wrists will be put in a cast and recovery is about a month. This “should” fix the problem. The orthopedic nurses will schedule the surgery and call us with details. I’ll try to post updates as they happen.

Lenny and I went to a wedding show this past Sunday and won several prizes!
1. $150 gift certificate for Sacinos tuxedo
2. $200 gift certificate for a bridal flower shop in Sanford
3. $500 gift certificate for laser hair removal
4. 1 year membership for Inches-A-Weigh
We made out pretty darn good for paying only $14 to get in. So we’ll be getting the tux’s from Sacinos. They have a couple of locations in Central Florida to accommodate all parties. We went to an appointment at Sacinos a couple of days ago and we are very happy with the overall experience and price. Will share more details soon.
Lenny started her free membership at Inches-A-Weigh and she is very happy with everything there. They have some gym equipment there and they provide lots of support, motivation and guidance. I’ve been pretty busy at work, my studies and different things for our wedding so haven’t had a lot of free time. We will make every effort keep the wedding website updated.

Chandler lost his first tooth last Thursday! He is growing up so fast.
He called us right after it happened and he described it like this…
"I was eating some food at dinner and then I felt something hard on my tongue. I took it off of my tongue and it was my tooth. It didn’t hurt that much when it fell out."

Chandler graduated from PreKindergarten tonight! We are so proud of him! It was so cool, but a reality check for how quickly he’s growing up. Look at pictures that I took tonight -> http://bobbyandsolenia.com/blog/photos/Chandler%20PreK%20Graduation/
They first performed some songs, then while they went to change into their cap and gowns they played a slideshow/movie of all the kids together at school and 5 pictures of each graduate taken throughout the years, and finished by handing out the diplomas to each graduating child. Again, we are so proud of him. Two more months and he will be starting Elementary School…

Chandler and I went to a car show at Colonial Town Park in Lake Mary last weekend. It was called Cars for the Cure. We had so much fun and they had some freakin’ awesome cars there! A whole row of corvette’s and lots of exotic cars. The whole parking lot to the theater was filled with these cars.

First off, I posted pictures from each recent holiday event that we celebrated: Christmas Eve, Christmas, New Year’s Eve, Bierly / Pecunia family get togethers and Three Kings Day (Día de los Reyes) in the photos section… check them out!
From get together’s at our house and gramma’s to celebrating the new year with family and friends at the river house. I have to say that this was the busiest and most family filled holiday season yet. I think this was a very special holiday season for Lenny, because she was able to spend so much time with her family. On the morning of Christmas Eve Lenny, Chandler Veronica and I woke up and exchanged gifts (Chandler and Veronica were not going to be with us on Christmas morning). That night, after driving around looking at Christmas lights, we picked up Lenny’s Dad, Teddy, from the airport. Teddy flew in from Puerto Rico and stayed with us until January 7.
On Christmas, Lenny, Teddy, Chandler, Veronica (Lenny’s niece) and I went to gramma’s house to exchange gifts and have dinner with my parents, and my sister’s family. After that we went to Gabbie’s house and visited with Lenny’s sister’s family. Gabbita (Lenny’s niece) and Tito (Veronica’s Dad) were visiting from Puerto Rico.
Next was the Bierly Christmas / Pecunia family get together on the 30th. We went to my parents house that afternoon and my Mom’s side of the family congregated there. We exchanged gifts, had dinner together and had lots of fun. That evening Lenny’s family came over to my parents for a little while and then Lenny’s family came to our house for a big get together. Lenny’s Mom was visiting from Puerto Rico, also.
New Years Eve was spent at Aunt Diane and Uncle John’s river house. We drove to Astor to celebrate new year’s eve with some family and friends. They had food, beer, bonfire, fireworks and a Wii game system setup outside. It was a lot of fun. Chandler the party animal stayed up and had so much fun with us and Uncle Nick and Aunt Melissa.
Three Kings Day (Dia de los Reyes) started out by us going to Osceola Heritage Park in Kissimmee for the annual Three Kings Day celebration. This year was the first time we went and we had fun. Chandler might have had the most fun, because they had around 5 bounce houses and he got to go in most of them. Later that evening, Gabbie’s family came over to celebrate Three Kings Day with us. I cooked lots of food on the grill and after dinner we exchanged gifts.
I hope everyone had great holidays and were able to spend time with their families.
